Todd Archuleta, Las Cruces Most Sought out Real Estate Agent, Rolls out a Free MLS Search Page on Their Web Site

As the Real Estate market remains soft in the rest of the U.S. sales records continue to be broken in Las Cruces NM. It appears that the real estate bubble has had no effect on the nations most favorite place to live.

(PRWEB) January 27, 2007 -- With sales setting new records, his web site (www.destinationlascruces.com) is setting records for daily traffic as well. Todd has now added a MLS property search page to his web site. "I wanted people looking for real estate to have a source to view the MLS from the comfort of there homes or offices just as if they were Realtors."

Just as the secret of Las Cruces being the nation's greatest place to live got out; it is no longer a secret that Las Cruces has dodged the real estate bubble as well. We spoke with Todd Archuleta an Associate Broker with EXIT Realty Horizons about the record sales in real estate in this quiet little town. Todd has made a name for himself as one of the cities's most sought out Realtors.

We asked Todd to share with our readers some statistics regarding the real estate records being set in Las Cruces, NM. "I crunched these numbers the first week of January, for 2006 Las Cruces Realtors sold a total of 2, 260 homes. That's an increase of nearly 6% over last year. The average combined sales price of new and existing homes also posted a new record being $215,793 witch beat last year by 7.5%," he said.

Is it true that new home sales have come to a halt? "No not at all, there were 719 new home sales posted in 2006, which is a 19% increase over 2005," he said. What about prices of new homes, in some parts of the country, are they still unreasonable? "Not in Las Cruces, that's one of the reasons we rolled out the MLS search page on the web site so people could take a look at the market here. (www.destinationlascruces.com ) The average price of a new home here is still only $257,132. And the average price of an existing home in 2006 was $196,691," said Todd.

It has become common knowledge that Las Cruces, NM has not only dodged the real estate bubble but has continued to thrive despite the fact that slower sales in other parts of the country are making it more difficult for people to move here. Has that had any effect their in Las Cruces? "We haven't seen any. We continue to set new records regardless; January 2007 has been the best January for us to date. You know, those slower markets will most likely find equilibrium sometime this year freeing up people and their equity to relocate to our area," said Todd.

How do you plan on handling the sales growth you are experiencing now and the growth that looks like will be coming in the near future? "You know, it seems like if we just focus on helping our clients get what they want, whether they are buying or selling real estate, the rest of our business seems to take care of itself. We just help them get what they want," Todd said. Hence the MLIS search page for your web site? "Exactly, if someone is currently shopping for a new or existing family home in Las Cruces, they can now view approximately 1,600 homes for sale in our area at our web site," he said.
