Soldier's Angels, a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of US troops around the world is pleased to announce that Angela Lashley has now become their featured artist.
Angela Lashley, a Nashville singer-songwriter and Mother to a United States Army soldier, has co-written and recorded the riveting song "So Brave" with Grammy nominated musician Byron House. "So Brave" is a tearful tribute to Angela's son Jonathan who is serving his second deployment in Iraq. Due to the intensity and the way the songs lyrics so accurately describe the thoughts and feelings of a military mother, this ballad "So Brave" has been labeled by the media as "The Military Mother's Anthem", and has been embraced by soldier's mothers nationwide.
Soldier's Angels salutes Angela's efforts to continue using "So Brave" as a positive message and public relations tool for military families and various troop support organizations. A portion of the proceeds from the CD purchased from the Soldier's Angels website will be devoted exclusively to the Soldier's Angels organization. To purchase Angela's CD go to Soldier's Angels web site at http://www.soldiersangels.org
Due to the deployment of 20,000 more US soldier's to the Middle East this month, Soldier's Angels is in need of funding to aid the additional troops. As an all-volunteer organization, Soldier's Angels prides itself in the support of the brave men and women who are deployed in support of the War on Terror.
