Our clients are already using eProcurement to obtain better rates and terms than they would by any other means. Avotus Corporation, the leading provider of Telecom Expense Management (TEM) solutions announced that it has added additional capabilities to Avotus Intelligent Communications Management™ (ICM) eProcurement to support organizations as they migrate to Multi - Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology. Also added are improved navigation and reporting features.
Avotus ICM eProcurement™ is a patent pending, electronic RFP and reverse auction platform specifically designed for the complexities of communications procurement. It includes the industry's only proprietary knowledgebase of best-in-class rates, terms and service levels derived from actual carrier bids. ICM eProcurement WebAuction™ has been used successfully by national and multinational organizations to obtain better contracts including rates, service levels and terms than they could have achieved using any other method. Customers have consistently obtained double-digit savings, many in excess of 50% depending on technology and sourcing criteria Using ICM eProcurement, these organizations have been able to complete sourcing projects in significantly less time and with less impact on internal resources - which adds to the overall cost savings of using this automated solution.
With the move by organizations and communications carriers to migrate traditional frame relay networks to MPLS, Avotus has introduced optimized reporting capabilities to enable users to more easily determine which carrier is providing the best pricing and contract terms and conditions, compare options including class of service, and calculate the cost of changing to the newer technology.
This latest product enhancements include improved report generators to enable ICM eProcurement WebAuction clients to create graphical reports to analyze the details of the bids provided during the auction, drill down to the data as well as to export the data for use in corporate presentations.
Also included is a refined user interface (UI) and navigation which improves the interaction of all participants during the WebAuction. ICM WebAuction enables the clients to view how communications carriers or service providers are bidding in real time to lower their prices as well as to increase their commitments on service levels or contract terms. The new navigation enables clients to more quickly and easily access information. The bidders also have enhanced customized screens to view their ranking relative to other bidders.
According to Alan Gold, chief marketing officer at Avotus, "Our clients are already using eProcurement to obtain better rates and terms than they would by any other means. These latest product enhancements continue to raise the bar in differentiating our state-of-the-art approach from less efficient external and hidebound internal sourcing and procurement processes."
These enhanced capabilities are currently available and are integrated into the ICM eProcurement solution set and are being used by all current auction participants.
