Redline Announces New Tracks Across North America for the 2007 Redline Time Attack! Series, Presented by Hawk Performance Brake Pads

The 2007 racing season is heating up for motorsports fans across the country, and Redline Track Events is proud to announce an expanded schedule with venues spanning the United States and Canada for another season of against-the-clock racing with the 2007 Redline Time Attack! presented by Hawk Performance Brake Pads.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 29, 2007 -- The 2007 racing season is heating up for motorsports fans across the country, and Redline Track Events is proud to announce an expanded schedule with venues spanning the United States and Canada for another season of against-the-clock racing with the 2007 Redline Time Attack! presented by Hawk Performance Brake Pads.

In the 2006 season, the Redline Time Attack! welcomed hundreds of entrants and thousands of spectators to witness the birth of Redline Time Attack!'s unique style of time trial racing. Unique among American racing series', the Redline Time Attack! bypasses the big-money wheel-to-wheel racing formula in favor of a run-what-you-brung time trial format that allows competitors with any budget and tuning level to push their cars (and themselves) to the limit on America's most technical and challenging race circuits. All while battling it out for bragging rights, money, and prizes in Redline's Contingency Award Program.

The format proved to be a smashing success, so for the 2007 season, Redline Track Events and event sponsor Hawk Performance Brake Pads have expanded the series to include a total of seven events, with at least one event bringing Redline Time Attack! action internationally to our neighbors to the north, Canada. This year, the season opener will take place at Southern California's premiere local racing venue, California Speedway, on February 10-11, 2007. Closely matching the time attack circuits of Japan, the Redline Time Attack! will use the interior road course configuration, which features 13 turns and 1.6 miles, all taking place in the infield of a 130-acre NASCAR speedway. Stay tuned for a full 2007 season schedule, coming soon on TimeAttack.com

For those interested in breathing in the sweet smell of tire smoke without taking to the track themselves, Redline Track Events will be introducing a new automotive lifestyle event: Circuit Life. In looking to get the hottest cars out of the fluorescent, carpeted convention center and onto warm tarmac where they belong, Circuit Life will blend a car show featuring eight classes of automobiles, a full vendor midway to help keep you up-to-date on the latest in automotive performance, Circuit Tech seminars teaching car control, car setup, and performance modifications to ensure you make the most of your traction circle, and spectator ride-alongs to give you a glimpse into the action that takes place during the Redline Time Attack!

Official dates will be announced on the official Redline Time Attack! website at Redline Time Attack, so log on for the latest updates in what will be Redline's fastest racing season yet!
