This new information service, powered by data from PrintFleet, a world leader in print management and assessment software, combines real-time, real-world corporate printing data with strategic analysis and insight to provide printer and copier vendors such as Canon, HP, Lexmark, and Xerox, with the information they need to evaluate and track changing patterns of printing in office environments.
Lyra and PrintFleet have established an ever-expanding "panel" of printers that can be monitored remotely and in real time. The current panel consists of more than 10,000 printers in more than 130 corporations throughout North America. On a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, Lyra can monitor each printer or copier in the panel and ascertain print volume, average coverage amount per page, and dozens of other print-related variables. This vast database of information is full of critical clues on how the use of printers and copiers in the office is changing.

There are statistics on device errors and user interventions by class of device, brand, and model.
