On January 19, 2007 SPAMfighter was named by Microsoft as a Gold Certified Partner. Microsoft's endorsement of SPAMfighter will lead to more benefits for the entire SPAMfighter community.
"By becoming a member of the Microsoft Gold Certified program, SPAMfighter will be able to serve our customers on a higher level with better updates and service. We are really excited and honored to be a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner" states Martin Thorborg.
To become a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, SPAMfighter had to achieve high customer endorsements. Furthermore, SPAMfighter had to demonstrate high technical knowledge and skills in the field of spam elimination, as well as show a broader range of experience in order to be accepted as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.
In addition SPAMfighter had to achieve the highest level of requirements set by Microsoft, including demonstrating significant levels of expertise in working with Microsoft products, and achieving a minimum of one Microsoft competency and by participating in customer satisfaction surveys.
Becoming a member of the Microsoft Gold Certified Program, SPAMfighter will have access to the latest information regarding Microsoft technologies. This will give better and more frequent updates, and help SPAMfighter to stay ahead of the game by updating SPAMfighter in line with Microsoft's own developments.
SPAMfighter is also now given unlimited technical support from Microsoft. If a bug is found in any program, SPAMfighter now has the ability to contact Microsoft for fast support from its technicians. SPAMfighter customers will notice fewer bugs in the program and, therefore, better integration with Microsoft products.
SPAMfighter looks forward to developing its relationship with Microsoft, and taking advantage of the benefits offered by Microsoft as a Gold Certified Partner in order to offer the best program possible to its customers.
SPAMfighter is Europe's leading spam filter developer. The Danish company is owned by the founders of Jubii.dk, Henrik Sørensen and Martin Thorborg, together with two programmers, Daniel Hjortholt and Martin Dyring. SPAMfighter employs 25 people and is based in Copenhagen. SPAMfighter is debt-free and is 100 per cent financed by income from the sale of the SPAMfighter client. Each day, SPAMfighter removes around 12 million spam messages from 16 million tested emails received by one million users in 212 countries/regions.
SPAMfighter draws its power from the fact that over 2.6 million users report spam as they receive it, with a single click. Once several users have reported the same spam message, it is automatically filtered for all other users. The result is that 90 percent of all spam is filtered out before it reaches any given user.
