High School Musical Fans Love Christian Pop Singer Magen

Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) January 31, 2007 -- 2006 was a year full of female teenage singers making big splashes on the pop charts like "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens and Jo Jo. 14-year-old Ohio singer Magen (pronounced Megan) continues the trend in 2007 with her debut album by showing off a beautiful voice and a powerful message.

Give Webster his due. The man knew what he was talking about. In his New World Dictionary, under the word "buzz," after dispensing with bees and telephones, he hits the nail squarely on the head: "a stirring-up; excitement; euphoria."

Magen has spent the better part of 2006 building a serious buzz, and the excitement and euphoria that she has stirred in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, is about to explode globally with the release of her debut single, "Saving Myself."

Unlike the other pop stars of today, Magen isn't out to top the diva list, but to communicate wholesome truths about God, love and life. "I talk about things that are real to teenagers and to people in general, my music reaches a broad audience and that's important," says Magen.

Finally, the doors are opening, says manager Martin Johnson. Magen has partnered with Worth The Wait, LLC. Worth The Wait, LLC, is an innovative clothing label that promotes sexual purity with contemporary style and urban class (www.iamworththewait.com) and she has been invited on a 10-city tour starting in the spring of 2007 along with television appearances and radio interviews. "It really feels like God has given Magen these opportunities so that she can help reach teens that need this music."

Although this is just the beginning, Magen looks to be off to a strong start.
