Grandson of the Chief Photographer of the New York Daily News (http://www.nydailynews.com/) (1950-1970) and great-grandson of a talented inventor, Riecken combines his inherited skills into his work as a visual creator. As a teenager, Riecken had his first taste of the spotlight when a short comedy of his was aired on "America's Funniest Home Videos."

In "The Past," Riecken displays his great talent for insight and foreshadowing.
