Chicago, IL (PRWEB) January 31, 2007
Coe-Truman Technologies today announced the signing of Ace Hardware Corporation's Commercial and Industrial Supply division as a client for its Catapult Catalog Management and E-Commerce Software.
ACE C&I executives will utilize the customized "Manage Once, Publish Many" Catapult Catalog Management and E-Commerce Software to allow Ace corporate staff and store managers to quickly develop and deploy dynamic, market-specific and customer-tailored quotes and marketing material for their clients real-time and online.
The new customized application will allow for faster product search and navigation, retrieval of vendor data, and building of multiple concurrent quotes for clients nationwide. Catapult will help Ace C&I manage over 600,000 SKUs for more than 400 stores across the U.S.
"We are pleased to be working with a large, forward-thinking retail market leader like Ace Hardware to help them better serve the needs of their partners and customers," said Coe-Truman Director of Sales Howard Diamond.
"Catapult Catalog Management and E-Commerce Software provides Ace C&I with a strong, enterprise-level foundation for sales growth, allowing them to develop a streamlined publishing process, richer product and marketing data, enhanced merchandising and increased flexibility."
Catapult provides comprehensive multi-channel catalog publishing tools to clients in the publishing, wholesale/distribution, retail, manufacturing, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Clients currently using the application include SBC, the State of Washington, the American Library Association, Skyline Displays, Calendars.com, and more.
The foundation of Catapult's highly functional catalog publishing system is the robust content capabilities of its Content Manager, which will allows users to load, view, edit and publish product data on-demand. Benefits of the application include improved data accuracy, timeliness and overall functionality such as searchability and navigation, product recommendations, and much more.
Ace C&I's custom Catapult Catalog Management application will also provide for significant reporting on product data, web catalog usability trends, and order data. Coe-Truman's alliance partner Byte Managers, Inc. will collaborate on the project, providing data enrichment services.
"At Ace Commercial & Industrial Supply, we are always seeking new and innovative ways to help our partners reach their customers with what they want, when they want it, at the best prices possible. Our market is increasingly competitive, and the Catapult Catalog Management System should help our partners achieve the agility it requires to thrive," said Russ Goerlitz, Ace Hardware Specialty Business Manager.
