Award-winning international real estate expert Cliff Bowman is building a completely redesigned multiplex condominium pre-sales facility around the corner from his former City and Country Condo Center. The new condo showroom and gallery, now called Urban & Resort Condo Center, will utilize new technology and innovations Bowman gleaned from his local and global marketing experience as well as from operating the world's first condo pre-sale multiplex marketing centre at 400 Robson St. in Vancouver over the past two years.
Scheduled to open in early April at 851 Homer Street, the new center will triple the number of developments showcased under one roof at this ground level storefront location. Each of the center's showcase areas will feature large interactive LCD screens allowing condo shoppers to view all aspects of local or out of town developments while talking to informed on-site personnel.
The new center will have its own website showcasing new projects in the center as well as showcasing them on the parent company's online global condo shopping portal http://www.globalcondocenter.com, a search tool where buyers input their desired condo lifestyle, location, design and price criteria to be presented with search results in seconds.
Officially launched to the general public last July by Global Condocenter Corporation, the website has the software capability to showcase new condo developments in 2,200 cities and regions around the world. The portal already lists over 40,000 new condo units in the U.S. alone. New BC, Canadian and offshore urban and resort condo projects are added daily and now include projects in Mongolia, Africa, India, Brazil, Mexico and United Arab Emirates.
According to the U.S. National Association of Realtors, 77 per cent of homebuyers begin their search on the Internet. However, potential buyers still want to personally look at opportunities and meet with knowledgeable real estate salespersons before making a buying decision.
Bowman says the condo center is an "open house concept" for many new projects presented under one roof where people can visit and personally learn more when they are in various stages of their research phase, including buying on site.
"In some markets, this due diligence period between when someone decides to buy and when they actually write an offer can sometimes stretch between seven and 15 months, especially for out -of-town developments. The Urban & Resort Condo Center saves them considerable time while providing a 'one stop, personal touch, no pressure' buying environment after shoppers have narrowed down their Internet search. Often this is the last stop before they buy."
The new condo center is designed for use by all developers and sales/marketing companies to feature their new condos for sale.

This retail center will assist in pre-selling new urban and resort condominium developments available in one to two years, as well as help people to buy or sell resale condos in B.C. The new center will also host seminars on various topics including buying off shore residences and is the template for other condominium marketing centers Bowman plans to open elsewhere in Canada and the United States in coming years.
