Miami Gardens, FL (PRWEB) February 5, 2007 -- Tranax Technologies, Inc., a leading developer of ATMs and self-service kiosks and Eclipse Cash Systems (ECS), a leading independent systems integrator that specializes in supporting large events, today announced that they would be using Tranax Mini-Bank 4000 Series ATMs to outfit the Super Bowl XLI.

"We have tried machines from other vendors, but we switched to Tranax ATMS because their systems offer the greatest reliability and value combined with the highest level of support. With an event as important as the Super Bowl, this is essential," said Derek Smith, President of Eclipse Cash Systems. (http://eclipseatm.com/)

We are proud to be a partner with Eclipse Cash Systems, said Bill Dunn, Vice President of Retail ATM Products Group at Tranax. The firm is very experienced at handling events as large and complex as the Super Bowl. It is an honor to work with them and a strong validation of our products and support. (http://www.tranax.com/)

Eclipse Cash Systems will install a total of 31 Tranax Mini-Bank 4000 Series, its best-in-class, self manufactured machines. This will include the installation of 15 Tranax Mini-Bank 4000s, permanently placed inside Dolphin Stadium, and 10 temporary outside systems that will be used both pre-game and game day for fans. In addition, 6 ATMs will be placed at the NFL Experience, an ongoing interactive theme park with games, displays, kids' clinics, and entertainment.

Background

The NFL estimates that 300,000 people will visit the stadium over the six days leading up to the February 4th game. The Super Bowl is not only one of the country's most-watched sports events--an estimated 80-90 million Americans in 60 percent of all homes will watch the game -- but a highly-attended entertainment and community event as well.
This year's Super Bowl XLI will take place at Dolphin Stadium in Miami Gardens on February 4th. The recently renovated stadium includes a 160-acre campus, a 360,000 square foot stadium expansion, and a football viewing capacity of 75,000.

For the past five years, all of the Super Bowl's ATM requirements had been handled by Eclipse Cash Systems (ECS), an independent system's integrator of ATMs based in Tempe, Arizona. The fast-growing distributor is a full-service company that handles sales, service, processing, and placement of ATMS. In addition to the Super Bowl Eclipse has handled many other large events across the United States for the past five years. The company is unusual in that its machines are completely wireless, thereby enabling placement of machines anywhere the customer might need to access cash. Eclipse has taken a unique approach to the mobile ATM business, by having state of the art technology with superior service and support, it has made Eclipse the front runner in Mobile ATM business.

The Mini-Bank 4000 platform of products is Tranax's first entirely self-designed and manufactured ATM. Developing its own hardware and software gives Tranax greater control over the design of each machine. It also enables the company to respond quickly to market changes with advanced functionality or product enhancements. By providing its own manufacturing, Tranax also provides its distributors and their customers with local service and support.

The Mini-Bank 4000 platform is flexible, modular, and robust. It is TDES and ADA compliant out-of-the-box, and includes a VISA lab-certified encrypting PIN Pad (EPP), voice guidance system, and light action indicators. It also includes an illuminated ATM topper for promoting events. The machines are 120 pounds heavier than comparable machines, which provides greater stability and security. Eclipse has also built custom, all-aluminum canopies for each of the 16 temporary machines, to shield them from the elements and promote the Super Bowl.
