Atlanta Author Pamela Jackson Visits Osondu Booksellers in Waynesville North Carolina
Pamela Jackson, author of 'On This Side of Heaven', will appear at the Osondu Booksellers Café, located in Waynesville, North Carolina, on February 10th 2007.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 1, 2007 -- Atlanta author and speaker Pamela Jackson will be appearing at Osondu Booksellers in Waynesville, North Carolina on February 10th, 2007 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
Ms. Jackson will be the first author to appear at Osondu Booksellers since it opened after a major renovation that started January 22nd. To meet the needs of their patrons, the independently owned bookstore has added a café serving organic teas, coffee, and will also be offering wine in the near future.
"It's always been my dream to have a café in the bookstore, and that dream is finally being realized," says Margaret Osundu, owner. "The support we've received from the local community, friends, volunteers, and staff has been truly amazing. We are delighted to have Pamela Jackson as our first guest author in our newly remodeled location."
Ms. Jackson will be meeting readers and inscribing copies of her newest novel, On This Side of Heaven. The book, which is first in the Heavenly Novels Series, explores battles today's churches deal with such as urban sprawl, modern relationships, contemporary Christian music, and the phenomena of mega-churches.
Osundu Booksellers, which opened in September of 2004, has established a loyal customer base in the surrounding area and currently hosts two book clubs - a Women's book club has been meeting at Osundu for almost 2 years, and a recently-added non-fiction bookclub as well.
Readers looking for more of Ms. Jackson's rich characters and page-turning plots will be glad to know that On This Side of Heaven is only the first in a series of novels. The second book in the series, For the Love of Heaven, will be released in 2007. Ms. Jackson has also authored Beyond the Cross, a book about sanctification, slated to hit bookstores this year.
