About Curves.com Welcomes Plus Size Community with Social Media
About Curves.com, plus size lingerie retailer, is launching a blog for the plus size community and is accepting applications for authors until February 9, 2007. This blog will allow the plus size community to connect and discuss life and lingerie.
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) February 2, 2007 -- About Curves is excited to announce an international search for 10 bloggers who will write about the plus size community in today's society. As a company dedicated to the plus size community, About Curves is revolutionizing the idea of a business blog--instead of just featuring new products and business news, this blog will allow the plus size community (and those who love them) to voice the triumphs and trials of being above average.
About Curves.com's blog will be a forum for discussion about all things plus size, including plus size fashion, body image in the media, and more. Applications will be accepted through February 9 for bloggers who want to be featured on About Curves' new blogsite. The only requirement is that bloggers dedicate themselves to writing a few times each week. Interested parties should send a short biographical paragraph in addition to explaining why they would be a good author for the blog.
On February 14, in celebration of women's curves, About Curves will launch their new blog.
About The Company:
About Curves was started in 2001 by a mother-daughter team who were frustrated by the lack of options available to women who do not fit the "model mold." Their mission is to provide women with the ability to feel sexy and to encourage women of all shapes and sizes to celebrate their curves.
Every product offered by About Curves is personally approved by a team of discriminating shoppers, and then modeled by plus size women in About Curves' very own photo shoots. The owners pride themselves on their insistence that women should not be made to squeeze their bodies into outfits that are uncomfortable, disrespectful, or poorly made.
The webstore now offers over 300 different products. The line includes traditional lingerie, including babydolls, bustiers, gowns, chemises, camisole sets, and teddys, as well as specializing in robe sets and bridal lingerie. The new expanded line also includes costumes, body products, feather products, and shoes.
