The Flash Gaming Network was created to give more recognition to the flash game authors themselves. Made by Shawn Tanner, a flash game producer, The Flash Gaming Network (FGN) treats all flash games as genuine productions- warranting discussion, fair ratings, and comparative reviews. Shawn, who goes under the alias of 'Afro Ninja', has been making flash games since 2002 and realizes first-hand the effort that goes into creating them.
Flash games have come a long way since the early 2000's. Many flash games found today have quality and depth to them that is comparable to full length classic console games of past decades.
