Seattle, WA (PRWEB) February 5, 2007 -- Blaze Audio today announces the release of its newest version of Power Record. Originally designed to schedule recordings for internet radio programming, the Version 2 series of Power Record now features instant recording, automatic shut-off, quick help files, and Song Grabber. This latter innovation is unique in that it allows users who have activated Song Grabber to record radio programming which has already begun airing.

Song Grabber's creation was the result of a single customer's frustration when she tuned in to the middle of an interview she'd wanted to hear in its entirety. "I wrote Blaze Audio and begged them to give me some way to capture that 'lost' portion so this wouldn't happen again," wrote Sandra P. of Lafayette, Louisiana. Blaze Audio's developers and engineers went to work and Song Grabber was born.

From the beginning, Power Record's popularity has mirrored the rise of internet radio. Two years ago, the Wall Street Journal reported that radio listeners were six times more likely to use the internet over satellite radio for accessing programming, and today it's estimated that 26% of all internet users listen to internet radio on a regular basis. Internet radio allows users to sample stations and content they couldn't ordinarily hear and Power Record makes it possible to schedule recording of such content. This is particularly useful for programming from other countries and time zones.

Power Record has been completely redesigned with the first-time user in mind, adding such options as one-click access to quick help files from the interface and an expanded set of instructions which make it easier to find the internet radio programming of one's choice. With the addition of Song Grabber to the latest series of Power Record, Blaze Audio is continuing to make it easier to make sure its listeners never miss a beat.
