In the tradition of storytelling on public radio, Morning Stories presents a growing collection of lean-forward-and-listen stories from individuals sharing a wide range of human experiences and emotions. An ongoing project, Morning Stories aims to bring new voices to the air and to foster a sense of community through the sharing of stories from neighbors and colleagues. "Public radio isn't just a first rate source for music and news," notes Morning Stories' creative director and producer Tony Kahn. "It's our national campfire, where we swap stories about the important personal moments in our lives. As listeners, we get to finish the pictures in our own minds, and make these stories our own."
