NASA Moon Base, Centerpiece Showcase of nanotx'07 Expo

Most welcome announcement finally comes after long months of organizing.

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) February 3, 2007 -- Exhibits depicting NASA's plans for a sustainable lunar outpost will be the featured centerpiece at nanoTX'07 (www.nanotx.biz), event organizers have now revealed after months of planning. The exhibits will graphically show initial elements of NASA's Global Exploration Strategy and proposed U.S. lunar architecture, two critical tools for achieving this nation's vision of returning humans to the moon. Other graphics will show proposed exploration vehicles that will take us not only back to the moon but on to Mars. Also to be showcased is a mockup of the dramatic Robonaut hardware (intelligent space robots) that is now being developed at the Johnson Space Center.

Of prime interest to the business leaders attending nanoTX'07 will be the attention NASA is displaying for space technology spin-offs. "Nano and micro technology suppliers are proving vital as NASA engineers tackle the incredibly complex journey for a permanent base on our moon," said Kelly Kordzik, President of the Texas Nanotechnology Initiative, which is presenting nanoTX'07 at the Dallas Convention Center, October 3-4. "Our recent decades have delivered the most remarkable products for business and consumers precisely because of this country's dedication to space exploration," added Kordzik, "and colonization of the moon and beyond by the human race is completely dependent upon our ability to utilize and master nanoscience and engineering."

This exciting event is held during International Nanotechnology Week which is attended by delegates from around the world. NASA hopes to attract other technologically advanced nations to join in these programs for the moon and Mars. NASA will be sending some of their top minds to present at nanoTX'07. Read about them, view NASA moon outpost artist's conception, and other updates at www.nanotx.biz.    ;

nanoTX'07 expands on the theme: The Promise of Tomorrow--The International Business of Nanotechnology and will draw the top minds in four vital and interrelated nanotech areas of commerce: Semiconductor/MEMS/NEMS, Defense/Homeland Security/Aerospace, Biomed/Health Sciences, and Energy/Chemical/Environment, plus provide an intense study of Trends/Finance/Investing by leading experts of industry. "There are a lot of people working very hard to make nanoTX'07 the nanotechnology event of the highest quality," says Kordzik, who is an Austin patent attorney with Fish & Richardson P.C.
