As AVC Corp. has grown and expanded over the past years, the newly redesigned web site features several new sections highlighting AVC's role in the environmental packaging movement, its newest overseas facility (AVC China), and the unique and innovative AVC packaging concepts for all categories of retail products.

The new site (http://www.avccorp.com) has many cutting edge features, but mainly was designed to include as much information as possible about the company's wide array of packaging and media replication services. Also included on the site is a lot of general information about packaging and media replication, so visitors can utilize AVC's web site as a tool for knowledge and information.

"I really think that a web site for a company like AVC should be a valuable resource to its visitors," said the company's VP of Operations, Art Stephens. "I see it as a way for people to not only learn about AVC's capabilities and services, but to also learn how these different services work and better understand the terminology."
Stephens said the AVC web site has been in need of a face lift for quite some time. Once AVC's management agreed on the overall look of the new site, the writers and design team at AVC Corp. put the plan in action by developing text, taking pictures, and shooting and editing short videos.

"We really wanted to give the new web site an industrial look," Stephens said. "Plus, it was important that we emphasize all the research and development we have done over the past few years in environmentally sustainable packaging. And with the recent addition of our AVC China facility, it was also important to give visitors information about our services and capabilities overseas."

The new AVC web site is a combination of flash and html and all levels of computer users were taken into consideration throughout the re-design. The new site is extremely user-friendly and should function on all types of computers.
