Delhi, IA (PRWEB) February 6, 2007
The Delhi Equestrian Center, the only equine facility in Delaware county promoting natural horsemanship, announced today they have contracted with 3 Star Certified Parelli Natural Horsemanship Instructor Linda Green to teach a 2-day Level 2 course June 2-3, 2007.
Natural horsemanship promotes communication, understanding and the development of a relationship between humans and their equine partners, rather than traditional "horse training" methods involving force, fear and intimidation. Training horses using their natural tendencies and instincts results in a safer, happier relationship for both the horse and the human.
"We are very excited to have Linda coming here in June. I had the opportunity to study under her during 2005 while working in Arizona," said Stacey Christiansen, owner of Delhi Equestrian Center, and 5 year natural horsemanship student. "Linda has an amazing ability to show her students how to be firm, yet fair - always focusing on safety and developing that special relationship with your horse."
The clinic will be limited to 10 riders who have already passed Level 1. Auditors will also be permitted, allowing people who are interested in learning the techniques to watch the clinic without having to worry about training their own horse at the same time.
