New LayoffShield Book Featured on FOX Television - Author Reveals Key Strategies to Avoid Losing Your Job
Americans have faced an alarming number of layoff announcements in the beginning of 2007. Author & Motivational Speaker Christopher Henson offered his expertise on how to avoid the cut list during a live television interview on FOX31 with News Anchor Shaul Turner.
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) February 7, 2007 -- Employment Continuity Expert Christopher Henson appeared on live Television with News Anchor Shaul Turner in January of 2007 to give a shield to the community, a shield that will protect against layoffs. "With all off the announcements about mass layoffs that have already happened in 2007, I am grateful for the opportunity to communicate with my community," comments Christopher.
During the live television interview, Chris shared some effective layoff-avoidance maneuvers, straight out of his new book, 'LayoffShield - Proven Strategies to Avoid the Cut List and Boost your Salary' (ISBN: 1425951481). "The LayoffShield Book will withstand the corporate axe and it will provide unparalleled value to anyone who reads it," says LayoffShield founder & Author Christopher Henson.

Both the new LayoffShield book and Author Christopher Henson's message come at a critical time, as the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that Over 1,300,000 individuals were Laid off in 2006. Already in 2007, Ford Motor Co. announced that up to 30,000 could be Laid Off and Chrysler CO announced they plan to cut 10,000 workers. Pfizer CO. reported that they may Lay Off 10,000 Workers to Cut Costs. Sprint announced plans to layoff 5000 workers.
When asked about these numbers, Christopher commented; "There is simply no doubt that America needs LayoffShield. On top of the alarming number of domestic layoffs in the last few years, there is the constant threat of offshoring. Skilled workers are losing their jobs to people over seas. The Forrester research group predicted that up to 3,400,000 jobs could be lost over seas by 2015. The people of this country have the ability to protect their jobs, but unfortunately, there are many who don't know this."
LayoffShield Inc. is the first company to offer employed professionals a book containing layoff avoidance strategies that may be used by anyone who finds themselves under the shadow of the layoff axe.
