NuBridges Offers Incoming Invoice Management as an Additional Service to EDI Customers

nuBridges' Incoming Invoice Management enables EDI users to receive all invoices electronically, not just those from business partners who are EDI capable.

ATLANTA, Georgia (PRWEB) February 5, 2007 -- In a move that reflects the changing enterprise software market, nuBridges, an Atlanta-based eBusiness software and services provider, today announced that it is launching an Incoming Invoice Management (IIM) service for its current Value Added Network (VAN), AS2 and FTP customers. This new service illustrates nuBridges' ability to respond to and lead changes in the market such as the rise of software-as-a-service, in conjunction with the market-wide effort to take Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to the next level.

Incoming Invoice Management is specifically designed for companies--regardless of their size or technical complexities--that find managing incoming invoices difficult and costly. An affordable and practical alternative to traditional electronic invoicing, the nuBridges IIM service allows companies and their business partners to take advantage of their existing AS2, FTP or VAN connections, minimizing the time and expense of starting from scratch with new technology.

This new service offering should not be confused with the eInvoicing products available elsewhere. IIM operates as an extension of the customer's current EDI capability - resulting in the simplest path to electronic invoicing, with no training or implementation headaches.

"The key word is management," states Tiyash Bandyopadhyay, Director of eBusiness Solutions at nuBridges. "This service is more than just a data transfer tool. Inbound Invoice Management actually transforms the data into whatever form you require and even matches purchase orders to invoices."

The solution comes with an ability to apply business rules based on the timing and content of purchase orders, invoices and advanced shipment notices. This allows companies to create business rules which create alerts and notifications depending on the content of related transactions through a dashboard. The related transactions can be examined regardless of whether the documents were received by VAN or any other connectivity method. This correlation of purchase orders with a shipment notices give companies greater control over the shipment and invoicing process, such as the flexibility to process invoices only for those items that have been shipped.

Inbound Invoice Management is available immediately to all current and future nuBridges customers. More information regarding this and other nuBridges eBusiness software solutions is located at www.nubridges.com.
