Impetus Day Trading Futures System Receives Top Rating

TradingVisions Systems, Inc. (www.TradingVisions.com) announced today that Impetus-- a futures day trading system with a 3-year record of profit--has received a top trading system rating from Futures Truth Company. TradingVisions develops and markets software trading strategies that automatically issue buy and sell signals for a variety of futures markets.

Spokane, WA (PRWEB) February 7, 2007 -- TradingVisions Systems, Inc. (www.TradingVisions.com) announced today that its Impetus day trading system has just been listed in the top ten of all monitored futures trading systems, and it is the #1 performer of all index trading systems. The rating is published by Futures Truth, an independent company that monitors and evaluates the performance of over 250 trading systems.

"It's an honor for Impetus to be among the top futures systems in the industry," states Lincoln Fiske, President and system developer of TradingVisions.

TradingVisions develops and markets software trading strategies that automatically issue buy and sell signals for a variety of futures markets. Impetus, which day trades the e-mini Russell 2000 futures contract, was TradingVisions' top performer in 2006. It was developed in late 2002, based upon observations of market patterns, and it has been traded by Mr. Fiske since its release to the public in early 2003.

"Most investors realize the importance of diversification, and many in recent years have chosen to include futures investments, which generally offer a low correlation with stock, bond, and real estate investments," according to Mr. Fiske, who is a registered informational CTA (commodity trading advisor).

Although highly leveraged, futures trading can be tamed with a sensible approach to the markets. "Automated trading systems are the best way to trade the markets because they can be back-tested for validity, they take the emotional element out of the equation, and they simplify the process of trading," Mr. Fiske states.

According to Mr. Fiske, "Few day trading systems in recent years have been able to profitably negotiate changes in the equities markets, and Impetus has been one of the survivors, averaging about 50% annual return over the last three 3 years."

Knowing that actual results are the most convincing, and proud to have a successful trading record of over three-years long, Mr. Fiske makes his trading account statements available to the public upon request.

"Everyone's excited about the new highs in the Dow, but at some point the market will have a poor year," comments Mr. Fiske. "One big advantage to trading Impetus is that it has no bullish or bearish bias, so it can profit in an up or down market. Additionally, it's based on a simple measure of the market's power and direction, and in system design, simplicity is the key to maintaining performance. Impetus is also a very selective system, based on my observation that not every day offers tradable moves."

Because of its low drawdowns, Impetus can be traded with an account size of $6000-$7500 per contract, an ideal size for beginning accounts or as diversification for larger accounts.

"I've tried to make trading Impetus as easy as possible, in order to meet the client's needs," Mr. Fiske concludes. Investors have the option of either purchasing it, or leasing for $50 per month. Impetus can be traded at the client's existing brokerage either directly by the client, or for the client through a broker-assist program. With the broker-assist option, the client simply completes a lease agreement and directs the broker to trade Impetus for the client's account; no prior experience, software, or monitoring is required.

About TradingVisions Systems, Inc. and Lincoln Fiske:

Lincoln Fiske is a full-time futures trading system developer who founded TradingVisions, Inc. in 2003. An educator for over 20 years, Mr. Fiske has long been interested in the markets, and he began developing his own systems in the mid-1990's, first making them available to the public in 1999. His approach to the markets is conservative, and he believes strongly in the ideal of trading a portfolio of systems, time-frames, and markets and in the need for strategies to prove their robustness by application to several markets.
