Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) February 8, 2007

The finalists have been chosen for the 2007 Dottie Awards, honoring the best web sites in Northern California, and newcomer SacForums.com is among the finalists.

SacForums.com, the Sacramento, CA Online Community is a new entry to the Dottie Awards and has been chosen as a finalist the first year nominated for an award. Nearly a dozen other web sites, competing for best Blog or Online Community, have been narrowed down to just three. Not included in the final round is MyFolsom.com, the winner of two awards last year.

Owner and admin of SacForums.com, Eric Kloss, says that it's an honor to be a finalist. "Our site is only a few months old and we're among some great competition in one of the area's premier events. I'm definitely pleased to just be included, but a win in our category and/or Peoples Choice would be amazing!"

The Dottie Awards is an annual celebration recognizing the best web sites in Northern California, with 14 different categories, plus Top Dot and Peoples Choice Award. The competition culminates with an awards show on March 8, 2007 at the Towe Auto Museum. Good Day Sacramento's Mark S. Allen will, again, be the event's emcee.
