The International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM) and Knowledge Infusion Partner to Deliver 2007 Talent Management Survey
The third annual IHRIM and Knowledge Infusion Survey will provide the IHRIM community a better understanding of how organizations view talent management solutions today, data to assess the growth of the talent management space, and needed information to prospective talent management solutions buyers, which will help in presenting solid business cases to executive management.
Burlington, MA; Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) February 7, 2007 -- The International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM) and Knowledge Infusion, the consulting authority on technology solutions that drive human capital management and talent management business value, has announced that the two organizations are partnering to issue their 2007 Talent Management Survey. The third annual survey conducted by IHRIM and Knowledge Infusion will focus on the continued demand for talent management applications (including performance and learning management, succession and career planning, competency management, compensation and talent acquisition) and to what extent organizations have been able to leverage talent management technology to drive value.
The 2007 Talent Management Survey will be delivered February 2007 to IHRIM members through the association's Web site –- www.ihrim.org. The results will be announced in conjunction with IHRIM’s HRMStrategies 2007 Conference and Technology Expo in Houston in May and will also be available on the IHRIM Web site through seminars, chapter presentations and in various IHRIM publications.
"As the talent management space continues to evolve, it is of utmost importance to gauge our membership and see how they are progressing by improving business processes and embracing new technologies. We can see what technologies have made an impact, where organizations are still struggling, and what the business goals are for the coming year, “ said Lynne Mealy, IHRIM president and CEO. “By sharing the results, members can understand how they compare to other organizations, and we can gear our education and programs towards the needs of the IHRIM community. Knowledge Infusion is instrumental in creating the survey as they are consulting with organizations everyday on talent management technology and are at the forefront of emerging trends and best practices.”
As in the past two years, the primary goals of the Talent Management Survey are to:
| | - Understand how organizations view talent management solutions today,
- Assess the growth of the talent management space year over year, and
- Provide prospective buyers of talent management solutions with information needed to help make educated business cases to executives within their organizations.
|
With the benefit of three years worth of results, both IHRIM and Knowledge Infusion feel that this year’s results will not only provide insight into the current marketplace, but will also demonstrate just how far the talent management industry has come.
"At Knowledge Infusion, we see that 2007 is the year that talent management technologies go mainstream," said Jason Averbook, CEO of Knowledge Infusion. “By embracing a holistic view to talent management, organizations can streamline their operations and maximize the value and contributions of their workforce. The 2007 IHRIM and Knowledge Infusion Talent Management Survey will help us further validate what we see everyday -- that transforming HR from a tactical, transactional operation into one that provides strategic value to the organization is a worthwhile effort that continues to gain momentum."
