Discovery HD Theater Invites Sunrise Earth Viewers to Seek Out The Perfect Sunrise
Discovery HD Theater's ongoing series Sunrise Earth has won fans from around the world with its distinctive programming approach and stunning high-definition imagery. Now, Discovery and Sunrise Earth creator and producer David Conover are inviting viewers to submit their own ideas of the perfect sunrise at http://www.MyPerfectSunriseEarth.com. Ultimately, five final locations will be selected for the "Sunrise Earth Viewers Choice" series, which will premiere in fourth quarter and one lucky fan will win a trip to one of the destinations to shoot their own sunrise.

Now, Discovery and Sunrise Earth creator and producer David Conover are inviting viewers to submit their own ideas of the perfect sunrise at http://www.MyPerfectSunriseEarth.com. Ultimately, five final locations will be selected for the "Sunrise Earth Viewers Choice" series, which will premiere in fourth quarter and one lucky fan will win a trip to one of the destinations to shoot their own sunrise.

With so many amazing locations around the world, the real challenge will be narrowing the choices down to five!"
Participants can submit as many nominations as they like and even send pictures through the Sunrise Earth message board. Over the course of four weeks, all of the submissions will be reviewed and narrowed down to 20 sunrise location finalists. Then, all viewers will be invited to vote for the locations they think will best represent the "Sunrise Earth Viewers' Choice" series and have a chance to travel with the Sunrise Earth crew to one of the final five locations. The winner, selected randomly from among the voters will also receive a home video package with which they will shoot their own sunrise alongside producer, David Conover.
Sunrise Earth airs mornings at 7 a.m. ET/PT on Discovery HD Theater and features the images and ambient sound of the breaking day in a variety of locations. Recent episodes have treated viewers to sunrises in such diverse locations as the foothills of Turkey, the area surrounding Iceland's biggest waterfall, Stonehenge, a Mediterranean port and the frozen Canadian tundra as the polar bears wake and greet the new day.
