"Cultivating Stillness" an exhibition of 25 new oils by Grace Kim will be featured by Andreeva Gallery, Santa FE, NM USA through March 25, 2007.
SANTA FE, NM (PRWEB) February 12, 2007 -- Tatiana Andreeva announces, "Cultivating Stillness," a lush collection of 25 still life paintings in oil by Grace Kim.
Kim's "Persimmon" recently won First Prize in the International Realist Competition and was featured on the December cover of the Artist's Magazine for "Best Art of 2006." Kim, who at 60 has work in an upcoming national tour of 15 museums, started painting just ten years ago. Less than two years after her introduction to fine art, Kim was working as an official copyist at the National Gallery in Washington, D.C., where she concentrated on the Dutch still life masterpieces of the 16th and 17th centuries. Her work demonstrates classical refinement with a bright and contemporary appeal.
