"What's Your Excuse?" is the story of Scott's children, Tyler and Destiny, who were diagnosed with 40-60% hearing loss by the age of 3.

When they were first diagnosed Scott was devastated. He would sit in their rooms at night and cry. "I thought their lives were over before they even began."

With the inspiration of their parents, Tyler and Destiny have overcome their disabilities to achieve many successes including becoming a black belt, playing on championship teams, winning a gold medal and consistently being awarded for their grades.
