Kansas City Lawyer to Lead National Aviation Group for Air Crash Victims

Kansas City, Missouri lawyer Gary C. Robb has been elected Chair of the Aviation Law Section of the American Association for Justice.

Lawyer Gary C. Robb has been elected Chair of the Aviation Law Section of the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America) at their Annual Meeting in Seattle. The Aviation Law Section is the largest group of Plaintiffs' plane crash attorneys in the world. Mr. Robb is a partner with the Kansas City personal injury law firm of Robb & Robb, LLC.

"I look forward to the challenge of leading this great group of lawyers over the next year," said Robb. The Aviation Law Section puts on educational programs, publishes quarterly newsletters on topical aviation issues, and facilitates communication on current matters of interests among its members.

Robb has been recognized as a leading aviation accident attorney as well as a prominent wrongful death attorney in the U.S. He previously served as Co-Chair of the Aviation Law Committee of the ABA Section of Litigation and has served as President of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.

He has obtained numerous record-setting awards for his clients including a $350 million jury verdict for a pilot killed in a helicopter crash and a $70 million jury verdict for a passenger killed in that same crash. He recently won a $38 million settlement for a young woman badly burned in a helicopter crash in the Grand Canyon and a $26 million settlement for a North Carolina real estate executive and his wife who died in a plane crash.
