Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 20, 2007 -- Bouje Publishing is inviting the online community to have fun and use their creativity in helping shape book 2 of the Future Business Leaders' Series™. The stories in the series help prepare kids for tomorrow's world by teaching them how to think creatively, turn what they love to do into business ideas, explore products and services around them, set goals, overcome obstacles and realize their dreams.
In the first book of the series, Tyler & His Solve-a-matic Machine (Bouje Publishing, ISBN-10: 0-9779265-0-8, ISBN-13: 9780977926503, US $6.99) written by Atlanta resident Jennifer Bouani. Tyler is an orphan boy who invents a machine to help him do his homework and creates a business to manufacture this machine. He must endure many tests set out for him by the Great Spirit of the Entrepreneurs, Soté, before he can officially become a successful business owner and realize his dream of sailing around the world. These tests are symbolic of obstacles encountered by adult entrepreneurs in the real world. They teach business concepts in a simple yet adventurous way showing them how to participate in and reap the rewards of our society.
" Fascinating book! This is a fast-moving, suspenseful adventure sure to capture the interest of intermediate-aged readers." said Dr. Darlene W. Daffin, Elementary Administrator, Trinity Presbyterian School. " That the book also teaches basic business concepts in an unobtrusive way is a delightful extra!"
"In today's global marketplace of extreme competition," said Bouani, "It is critical more than ever that children learn early the principles of free market trade and how to become leaders."
The stories appeal to kids because they arouse their senses as the main characters perform adventurous tasks and solve challenging, play-on-word riddles. They appeal to parents and teachers because they can be used as a teaching tool for entrepreneurialism, capitalism, networking, and free trade.
"This is a great introduction to the concept of what being an entrepreneur is all about," said John Walter Drake, senior partner at the law firm of McCurdy & Candler and a successful Atlanta-based entrepreneur himself. "It's an imaginative and fun book for the bright young reader.
