Norvax Welcomes Michael Ahern as Chief Financial Officer
Today Norvax, the leading provider of online sales technology to the health insurance industry, announced that Michael F. Ahern has been named chief financial officer. Mr. Ahern joins Norvax from CT TyMetrix, the market leader in Web-based management solutions for corporate law departments and claims organizations.

Ahern has been named chief financial officer. Mr. Ahern joins Norvax from CT TyMetrix, the market leader in Web-based management solutions for corporate law departments and claims organizations. While at TyMetrix he was responsible for the company's finance and administrative functions.

Mr. Ahern has more than 20 years experience in financial management and accounting. Prior to joining CT TyMetrix, Mr. Ahern was chief financial officer at Tripoint Systems Development Corporation, where he helped negotiate the successful sale of the company. He has also held finance executive roles at several technology startups both in Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area over the past ten years. During his time as Controller at Transmeta Corporation, he played a key role in taking the company public in November 2000.
Mr. Ahern, a registered CPA in Illinois, holds a BS degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago.
