Minnetonka, MN (PRWEB) February 20, 2007 -- Midwest Energy Association (MEA) announces that the APGA Security and Integrity Foundation (SIF) has licensed MEA online Operator Qualification (OQ) training materials. Small operators, having smaller budgets then their larger counterparts, must provide training resulting in the same highly skilled and productive workforce. SIF focuses on providing these small operators with the highest quality education and training at the lowest possible cost.
Small operators can now use MEA materials at www.EnergyU.org, to facilitate compliance with DOT OQ requirements, because of the SIF and MEA license agreement. Small operators are also granted access to MEA's OQNR web-based record-keeping system and the ability to post OQ qualification results to the web. EnergyU.org provides an extensive and growing library of self-paced learning modules with industry approved content. Learning modules are available any time, anywhere, as long as users have an internet connection.
