Justin Fone Productions is Pleased to Announce its Donation of Video Production Services to The Maria Ann Hsiao Memorial Foundation

In a joint effort to keep art awareness alive in schools, Justin Fone Productions is pleased to sponsor and donate its video production services for a crab feed fundraiser on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the Marina Community Center in San Leandro, CA. Hosted by The Maria Ann Hsiao Memorial Foundation, the crab feed will help promote art awareness, fund educational opportunities in the arts, and establish art programs to underprivileged children in the San Francisco Bay Area. The silent auction will begin at 5pm followed by dinner at 6pm.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) February 18, 2007 -- On June 10th, 2001 the pain of Maria Ann Hsiao's untimely death was felt by all of us. During this time of sorrow, friends, family, and our community joined together to create a memorial fund to keep Maria's hopes and dreams alive. March 14, 2002 would have been Maria's 22nd birthday. It was on this special day that the Foundation chose to officially establish The Maria Ann Hsiao Memorial Foundation in her memory. The Foundation was created to carry on the hopes and dreams of Maria, whose passion for the arts inspired us all to share art with children and aspiring artists within our community.

We believe that children must be given opportunities to experience art and express their creativity through art programs. Art is an incredibly powerful way for children to express themselves. Through art for kids, we have reached over 2,000 children so far and we are focused on reaching and experiencing art with thousands more. "My personal mission is to share with others the passion that Maria had for life and art. She believed in living life to very fullest and wanted everyone to experience the magic and power of art" says Andrea Hsiao, sister of Maria and co-founder of The Maria Ann Hsiao Memorial Foundation. "As California school budgets continue to decrease, unfortunately one of the first departments to go is the art department. I think it's absolutely wonderful that The Maria Ann Hsiao Memorial Foundation is helping to keep art in schools alive" says Justin Fone of Justin Fone Productions.
