Man Lands in Jail after Trying to Save Friends from Addiction

Richard Taylor's life began its down-hill slide during his mid-twenties. Married at the age of eighteen, he endured what he now considers a "twelve year incarceration," by smoking pot and drinking alcohol. After divorce #1 came a few DUI's, rehab, and a second wife. Staying pleasingly numb on pot for another eight years, he encountered divorce #2, a new apartment, and another downward spiral.
Discovering his friends were smoking crack at work, Taylor intervenes by calling the DEA and Sheriffs Narcotics Department. With innocent intentions foiled by a system Taylor now says "isn't concerned with getting to the source of the drug problem," his plan backfired, and Taylor wound up behind bars. Upon release, he suffered a stroke, and his life, as he knew it, was over.
Call it what you will, but Taylor now considers this a divinely inspired event. While in the hospital, still enduring stroke-induced neurosis, he is visited by an Angel that heals him, not only of the debilitations caused by the stroke, but of his alcoholism as well. With a renewed sense of purpose, and direction for his life, miracles began to occur. He finds his soul mate who became the perfect match for him, and their life commitment to one another is a story unto itself.
