Lotus Domino Server Document Audit and Monitoring Tool Released

VantagePoint, Conxsys' audit and change control monitoring utility for the IBM Lotus Domino environment has been released for free as part of a public test program. Conxsys is actively seeking organizations that have a need to actively monitor and audit their Domino server documents to join the program.

Carson, California (PRWEB) February 20, 2007 -- Conxsys, an IBM Business Partner and Domino application developer, is accepting applications to join the VantagePoint Alpha Test program.

VantagePoint is a Domino-based utility aimed at auditing and monitoring Domino server documents for field level changes. Any change to a field in a Domino server document will be recorded and an optional email can be sent to alert the appropriate staff to the change. Administrators will be able to "walk" through the entire history of changes to each field, as well as roll back fields to any previously recorded value with a simple mouse click.

Domino server documents are the most important configuration document in any IBM Lotus Domino server environment. With hundreds of fields to maintain in a single document, it has become a daunting task for administrators to track changes to these hundreds of fields, especially in environments with tens or hundreds of Domino servers.

With today's emphasis on industry and regulatory compliance, tracking and maintaining a list of all field level changes to server documents comes with a high administrative overhead. VantagePoint eases this burden with fully automated real-time and/or scheduled audits.

For those organizations not dealing with compliance issues, VantagePoint provides automated change control management. Every field in every server document is monitored for change. When a change is detected, an audit document is created thus documenting the change automatically. The roll back feature also provides push-button ease for change back out.
