Renowned Yosemite Spiritual Workshop Goes Online

After ten successful years as a highly-praised workshop known only through word-of-mouth, The Lotus Path, a series of spiritual sessions created and run by Betty Malicoat, launches www.TheLotusPath.org website.

Coarsegold, CA (PRWEB) February 21, 2007 -- After ten successful years as a highly-praised workshop known only through word-of-mouth, The Lotus Path, a series of spiritual sessions created and run by Betty Malicoat, launches www.TheLotusPath.org website.

My clients have been incredibly supportive and inspiring
Considered a secret among many people, The Lotus Path Workshops have always been available to anyone living in or visiting the Fresno, Oakhurst and Yosemite areas. But with an online presence, Malicoat hopes to appeal to an even greater cross-section of people. In fact, it was her clients that urged Malicoat to unveil her workshops online.

The Lotus Path workshops were developed through the study, experimentation and integration of Greek mystery religions, Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and the Shamanism of Hawaii and Africa. The workshops focus on clearing the chakras (emphasizing the Ajna, heart, and solar plexus) by activating the senses through a variety of techniques. Although numerous methods are used, they all have one purpose: to connect to the higher self and work with divine energy.

The Traveler Workshop offers a single session customized for people who are visiting the area or just passing through to Yosemite. The Journey Workshop is a six session spiritual autobiography. The Tribal Workshop is comprised of two sessions geared towards couples and small groups while The Quest Workshop is for those who are ready to explore the unknown.

The daughter of celebrated San Francisco theosophy sage, Joe Miller, Sr., Malicoat has been referred to as many things - teacher, artist, counselor, even shaman - but she prefers the simple title of "guide".

"My clients have been incredibly supportive and inspiring," says Malicoat. "They've encouraged their families and friends to try the workshops and have shown me it's time to open my doors to a greater variety of people. Folks from out-of-town have commented on how taking a session or two on their way to Yosemite has enriched their whole vacation."

Reservations can be made by calling (559) 658-7742 or by visiting the website, where local lodging suggestions are also provided. More information can be found at http://www.TheLotusPath.org.
