Whet Travel's "Groove Cruise", the ultimate dance music adventure, was recently featured in the business section of the New York Times, being praised for leading the trend in the next phase of nightlife and its unique ability to reach the young professional consumer market. Each year, Whet Travel sets sail with three Groove Cruises from major cities: Miami, Los Angeles and New York City. 2007 will bring more partnerships, sponsorships and events onboard The Groove Cruise.

Miami Beach, FL (PRWEB) February 21, 2007 -- Whet Travel, Inc., a progressive travel agency for young professionals, announced today that the "Groove Cruise", its annual floating music festival, was featured in the New York Times Business section on Thursday, January 25, 2007.

The New York Times noted that the Groove Cruise is the only dance music event aimed at reaching a young professional demographic. Dance music and fashionable nightlife guide their social habits and the latest and greatest technology and market trends drive their material spending, making the Groove Cruise the epitome of market influence and upcoming trends. Onboard the Groove Cruise, you'll find cutting edge clientele brought together by a love for dance music, travel, networking opportunities and the nationwide social outreach presented by the weeklong trip.

Whet Travel released their artist lineups for the 2007 Groove Cruises: Bad Boy Bill, recently voted America's Favorite House DJ - 2006 by BPM readers, will headline both the May 11-14 Groove Cruise form Miami as well as the July 20-23 Groove Cruise from Los Angeles. Joining Bad Boy Bill on the Miami cruise in May will be Steve Smooth, DJ Kalendr, Alex Peace, Shannon Williams, Greg Bauer and others. Supporting Bad Boy Bill on the Los Angeles Groove Cruise in July will be world renowned DJ personality Donald Glaude, Scooter and Lavelle, Scotty Boy, Alex Peace, Matty A, J'me Jacobs, D:Fuse and several more.

The Groove Cruise has partnered with several companies that target the young professional audience. A portion of each cruise sale will benefit NextAid which is a non-profit organization that focuses on aiding children in Africa who have lost their parents to AIDS.
