Kalamazoo, MI (PRWEB) February 28, 2007 -- New literature is now available detailing Prab Conveyor's enhanced performance features for their diagonal shaft chip wringers and vertical axis crushers (VAC). These components are integral parts of dependable chip processing systems designed to take most any type of cumbersome wet metal chip from the production room floor and process them into dry manageable chips for recycling.

The Prab wringers diagonal shaft design allows continuous throughput of metal chips and is available in 16", 24" and 40" diameters. Prab chip wringers are available in Gravity discharge (CD) and Air discharge (AD) versions. Air discharge models are capable of propelling processed chips up to 50 feet to a centrally located load out area. Distances of over 100' are possible with the addition of chip blowers/fans.

Vertical Axis Crushers come in a single size. They operate at low speeds and quietly crush steel, alloys and nonferrous metal turnings using little in the way of power. Various feed hopper options are available and an automatic solids ejector system comes standard.

Scrap Aluminum, Brass, Cast Iron, Steel, Stainless and Alloys all have optimal value in the recycling marketplace, which can only be fully captured by processing your metal chips.
