The Safe Child Custody Support Group Features The Social Lyricist Corner and Says Stop Complaining and Start the Revolution

The Social Lyricist Corner -- It's The Battle of Words

(PRWEB) February 23, 2007 -- The Safe Child Custody Support Group headlines the Social Lyricist Corner and challenges rappers, Hip-Hop artists, rockers, poets to Stop Complaining and Start the Revolution.

Get on board with words to uplift, inspire, encourage, tell a story, soothe the people, enlighten the world. Lyrics or poems should be socially conscious (and a cool melody...interpreted). There will be a vote. The people will choose; the people will vote and each vote will count.

Rules:
Consider the social, economical, and environmental state of the world. John Lennon did it. Bob Marley did it. KRS-One, Lauryn Hill, Nas, and many others did it, too. Do your own thing, and showcase your talent in socially-conscious lyrics or poems.

Items, below, are to be excluded:
1.) The "n" word
2.) Cursing
3.) Plagiarism (don't use other people's rap, lyrics, words, poetry...visit copyright website). Read copyright laws on copyright website
4.) Drugs
5.) Any negativity towards gender, race, or sexual orientation
6.) Violence
