Wilmington Delaware's Stealing December, one of alternative rock's most enduring and innovative bands, will perform two very special shows in Delaware as part of their Winter Fling.

(PRWEB) February 26, 2007 -- Wilmington Delaware's Stealing December, one of alternative rock's most enduring and innovative bands, will perform two very special shows in Delaware as part of their Winter Fling. The mini tour begins at Kelly's Logan House Thursday, February 22 and ends at the East End on Saturday March 3 with a very special show on Saturday the 25th at The Trocadero Rock Club in Philadelphia. The first concert will start at 8 P.M. at Kelly's Logan House, located at 1701 Delaware Avenue in Wilmington. $8 tickets are available at the main ticket office and at the online box office at Kelly's Logan House or by calling the Central Ticket Service. The Trocadero show is an all age's show being played with opening acts, Desoto Jones, The High Court, Hence Reverie, Miss Vintage, Exit Clov and The Wonder Years. That show is part of the Brotherly Shove Series and show time is at 6:30PM on February 24th.

Lead singer Brandon Langer joined with lifelong friends Ryan Mullen and Michaelangelo Ristano, along with his brother Joe to start Stealing December in 2005. The band released their first demo album on their own independent label which led to an independent recording deal with Sunset Records. Their quirky style and catchy melodies soon became popular with college students and with fans all over the United States, but it was with the 2006 release of their self titled EP that the group won a national audience and scored the most votes for the 2006 Hot Zippo Tour with headliners, Papa Roach and Hed. In 2005 Vocalist, Guitarist from Lincoln Nebraska joined forces with guitarist Ryan Miller, bassist Joe Ristano, and drummer Michaelangelo Ristano.

Stealing December is no stranger to the stage; they have performed more than 50 shows in the last 9 months, and are just coming off their first national tour in the U.S. and Canada. In 2007, the band will hit the road nationally again in the United States, and the new CD is also being promoted around the world. The band will also have future tours in Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, expanding their horizons far beyond the typical limits of a new alternative rock band.

The band is currently recording in the studio while rehearsing and writing new material for their next worldwide release set to hit stores by early summer. Last year, the band inked licensing, sponsorship and endorsement deals with Faircatch Clothing, Barricade Clothing, Sam Ashe, Peavey, Vitamin Mineral Water, Zippo Lighter; they also have recorded orchestral cues on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Stealing December recording the new CD in their home town in Wilmington, Delaware and the remixes are being completed with a producer that has yet to be hired for the project. The debut CD called SD will be serviced to radio and press by May of this year.

The Delaware-based Stealing December is made up by Brandon Langer, lead vocals and guitar; Joe Ristano, bass; Michaelangelo Ristano, drums; and Ryan Mullen, guitar. All shows from the Winter Fling of live shows will be available at Sunset-Live for live downloads after the show ends that night. There will also be a live concert Video download available at Sunset's Music Store along with Amazon's Unbox Video Download Service. Stealing December is also featured at HDNet Television premiering on February 25th with live performances from their Viper Room show in December of last year and the episode featured with New Found Glory and Sonic Youth airs many times in March at HDNet.

More information about the concert is available online at the www.SunsetRecordsGroup.com and www.StealingDecember.com web sites. The bands will be interviewed before the shows, and the answers will be posted to the web site. Questions for the bands can be submitted online at both the label web site and at the bands website.
