Alan R. Brayton, senior and founding partner of the law firm of Brayton Purcell, will receive the Philanthropist Award of the Year from Lifehouse, a community nonprofit organization that serves the developmentally disabled and their families.

Mr. Brayton will be honored at Lifehouse's 2007 Annual Awards Banquet, which includes dinner, raffle prizes and dancing as well as the presentation of awards.
