Local Dallas Photographer's Work Featured at International Exhibition
A photographic image created by Dallas photographer Kimberly Wylie was featured last month at the world's largest annual exhibit of professional photography held by the Professional Photographers of America.
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) February 26, 2007 -- Late last year, Wylie's photograph, titled "I've Got the Whole World in my Hands", received PPA's highly coveted "Loan Collection" designation and earned a place in the organization's 115th International Exhibition of Professional Photography. Wylie's lyrical black-and-white image captures a newborn being cradled in her father's outstretched hands.
PPA's Loan Collection comprises the images judged to be the "Best of the Best" in its annual International Judging. A panel of more than 40 eminent photographers from across the United States selected the award-winning images from 5,000 entries submitted to PPA's 2006 International Print Competition. In addition to showcasing the images at its international exhibition, PPA also features the Loan Collection in a major annual publication.
