IEEE Elevates Local Professor to Senior Member Grade

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) announced Saturday that Leesburg area professor, writer, and consultant David T. Lang has been elevated to the grade of IEEE Senior Member.

Leesburg, VA (PRWEB) February 26, 2007 -- The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) announced Saturday that Leesburg area professor, writer, and consultant David T. Lang has been elevated to the grade of IEEE Senior Member.

Prof. Lang, an internationally known digital forensics investigator and former Chief Examiner and Program Manager at the Department of Defense Computer Forensics Laboratory (DCFL), has worked in the fields of national security, counterintelligence, anti-terrorism, and digital forensics for more than 17 years.

He has served on the faculty of The George Washington University, The University of Fairfax, and the American Public University and currently teaches in the online Master of Science in Information Assurance (MSIA) Program at Norwich University (http://www.msia.norwich.edu/overview.htm).
