2nd Rubber & Tire Asia/China Markets in Shanghai

Press Release on a rubber & tire event featuring rubber and tire market trends and developments in Asia. Rubber including natural rubber and synthetic rubber. Tire demands in China and India and its overview in Vietnam.

(PRWEB) February 28, 2007 -- The success of Rubber & Tire Asia/China Markets 2006 conference has inspired Centre for Management Technology to host another exciting meet.

This year, the 2nd China/Asia Rubber & Tire Markets is expected to have a bigger turnout as many new speaker companies have offered to share their knowledge and experiences in the fastest growing region for rubber and tire. Amongst the majors list, key industry experts from Lanxess, Flexsys, and UBE Industries will share their perspectives and success strategies whilst CEAT, Newera Group and Gates Unitta, will discuss the growth for rubber use in this region.

China and India are two key market drivers of the region's rubber and tire industry. Reported figures from International Rubber Study Group, suggest China and India to lead the pack, devouring almost 30% of global NR production in 2005, mainly for tires to support their booming auto trade. According to statistics from China Rubber Industry Association, production and sales revenue from tires grew by 16.35% and 24.02% respectively over the first nine months of 2006 as compared to that of 2005. For this reason, Shanghai Tyre & Rubber Co Ltd, Beijing Polk Catarc and Guangzhou South China Rubber Tire Co are invited to speak on the local tire market for the benefit of local tire manufacturers as well as the global players.

The tire industry in India however, being a price-sensitive market, has not been able to recover rising raw material costs to full extent through product pricing. Innovation and R&D are the viable options to sustain profit margins for tire producers. Hence the presentations by JK Industries Ltd & CEAT will focus on the prospects of the Indian automotive industry, and technological advancement to meet tyre performance requirements.

Also featured in the meet will be the Southern Rubber Industry Company (Casumina) that has registered its trade mark - Casumina - in five ASEAN countries, besides Viet Nam, and has exported its products to 22 countries and territories. Le Van Tri, Sales & Marketing Director for Casumina will give an overview on raw materials, production capacity and trading/export trends and plans in Vietnam.

Noted as 'Asia's Most Awaited Rubber & Tire Conference', this conference is the highlight of the rubber and tire industry in this region.
