Rapide is based on Eclipse CDT (C/C++ Development Tools) and comes with GCC based toolchains that support cross-compilation on both Windows or Linux hosts. The IDE also ships with a collection of C++ class libraries from the POCO open source project (http://pocoproject.org/), sponsored by Applied Informatics.
