England Star John Terry Survives Close Shave To Win Cup
King of Shaves delighted John Terry uninjured after shock kick to the head.
Chesham, Bucks (PRWEB) February 27, 2007 -- Last year, it was the King of Crashes when the King of Shaves sponsored Class 1 Powerboat driven by James Sheppard and throttled by team owner Chris Parsonage crashed spectacularly at 140mph in front of thousands of spectators in Plymouth England. Will King was present with James Sheppard's wife. Lis when the accident happened, with both being rescued after 5 minutes of nailbiting uncertainty
Yesterday it was the turn of King of Shaves Global Brand Ambassador, John Terry, Captain of Chelsea and England to experience a close shave of his own when he was accidentally knocked unconscious by a kick to the head by Abou Diaby during soccer's Carling Cup Final between arch London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea. Will King, founder & CEO of King of Shaves was watching the game on TV when Terry was kicked, stretchered from the pitch and taken to hospital.
He was delighted to hear that JT had discharged himself from the hospital and returned to Cardiff's Millennium stadim to celebrate with his teammates. Will texted Aaron Lincoln, John's agent with best wishes from all at King of Shaves, asking that John didn't have to go to 'such extreme lengths' to align himself with his sponsor...!
