Vyatta Secures QuesGen Clinical Data
Open-source router/ firewall locks-down online medical application.

QuesGen made the move to Vyatta to ensure the security of its application, simplify day-to-day management, and reduce network expenses.

The Vyatta software delivers the features, performance, and reliability of an enterprise-class router and firewall and allows users to regain control over their network infrastructure by virtue of Vyattas open architecture and flexible subscription model. Running on standard x86 hardware, or preinstalled on a Dell PowerEdge 850 from Vyatta, the software provides users a low-cost alternative to proprietary networking products. Subscriptions start at $497, or $1,797 when preinstalled on PowerEdge hardware.
