Lynwood, CA (PRWEB) March 3, 2007 -- Holy Fire Publishing releases God's Paradise (Paperback, US$15.99, ISBN# 1-933899-52-2). Tyler's book, God's Paradise, shares an inspirational message of love and kindness through poetry. The book contains spiritual and uplifting poems from the author's perspective as well as poems about incidents in someone else's life.
In 1970, Tyler discovered her ability to write poetry. Sitting at her dinner table one evening, she put sentences together praising the beauty of God's creation. As she progressed with her poetry, she began writing about people who'd experienced the wonder of God's mercy. In one poem, Tyler writes of a man who rescued a woman and a child. Her goal was to recreate the rescue in a poem to express to the world that he was a hero.
God's Paradise wouldn't have been possible without the encouragement of Tyler's family and friends. In fact, she's created many poems for family and friends who've lost loved ones. She would reflect on the person's character and life, and then create a poem. Her family supported her poetry even when she worked an eight-hour shift and drove 72 miles to and from work, taking out time to help her mother and godmother.
The poems in God's Paradise range from free verse to rhymed poetry. Tyler writes mostly in the early hours of morning or late at night when the world has settled down and calmness overtakes her. For her, the writing just flows from the Lord, and she captures it on paper, reaching people on a positive, spiritual level. When time allows, she speaks to teenagers and young adults, encouraging them to do what is right in the eyes of God.
Tyler's passion is to share the beliefs and wonders of God through poetry, which she believes, is the music of the mind.
Tyler grew up and was educated in Los Angeles, California, and attended a local church at Miracle Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, where she developed an understanding of the value of religious teachings. For the past ten years, she has worked as secretary to the Assistant Vice-Principal at Chatsworth High School. She also worked at Reseda High School and Cal State Northridge. She has been married for thirty-five years and has three adult children and six grandchildren.
