Organizational Development Awards: Call for Nominations

Companies excelling in organizational development and employee retention invited to compete for PILAR awards from e-Learning leader MindLeaders.

Organizations with exceptional employee development and learning programs are invited to nominate themselves for the second annual PILAR awards (Performance Improvement and Learning Achievement Recognition) starting on March 15, 2007.

The awards, sponsored by e-Learning leader MindLeaders, recognize outstanding organizational development programs featuring MindLeaders products and services.

"MindLeaders has helped organizations around the world train hundreds of thousands of employees for more than 25 years," said Carol Clark, Founder and Board Chair. "We've seen excellent examples of how the best companies in the world develop their employees, improve employee retention and build great learning programs."

Clark explained that in 2006 MindLeaders decided to implement the PILAR awards to recognize excellence in organizational development.

Companies can nominate themselves or other organizations at

Award categories include: Best Ongoing Organizational Development Program, Best Ongoing Organizational Development Program Using PLuS, Best First Year Organizational Development Program, Best First Year Organizational Development Program Using PLuS, Best Measurable Results in an Organizational Development Program and the Carol Clark Award for Organizational Development Excellence.

Deadline for nominations is July 31, 2007. All learning programs nominated will be reviewed by an independent panel and winners will be named at the MindLeaders International User Conference, which will be held October 7-9, 2007, in Las Vegas.

Last year's PILAR award winners included Alverno Information Services, Dionex Corporation. Granite Services, Inc., Toyo Tire USA Corporation, National Education Foundation, Parasol IT Plc, Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina, SCC Soft Computer, and Beckman Coulter, Inc. FedEx was recognized with the Carol Clark Awards for Organizational Development Excellence.
