You asked. We listened -- and delivered -- a point-of-care cart that provides even more caregiver efficiency, patient safety and quality care. Ergotron, the proven leader in point-of-care computing, according to a survey conducted by Healthcare IT News in July 2006, has refined the StyleView Cart and will preview its latest line of point-of-care carts in booth 6227 at the 2007 Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) show in New Orleans this February. Building on the unparalleled features of the original StyleView, the latest version brings point-of-care computing to a whole new level.
Improve viewing comfort and enhance productivity through StyleView's expansive range of effortless height adjustment. Twenty inches of sit-to-stand motion is combined with an additional 5 inches of independent monitor height adjustment and 25-degree screen tilt (on flat panel configurations), which benefits all users, including those who wear progressive lenses. A keyboard tray provides up to 12-degrees of negative tilt -- recommended by ergonomists for the proper typing position. This reduces the risk of repetitive stress injuries. The enclosed cable management compartment neatly routes and hides cables, making it easy to keep things sanitary.
With an optional 55 Ah power system, StyleView Carts can easily accommodate future hardware upgrades. The power system has a standard two-year warranty, which leaps ahead of warranties offered with competitive carts and saves valuable money. Upgraded StyleLink software enhances power system management, helping extend battery life by offering battery cycle count, email alerts and automatic software updates. The powered carts come standard with a programmable, auto-locking electronic keypad medication drawer, making StyleView both a point-of-care cart and a medication-delivery system, reducing healthcare costs and improving patient care.
"As the proven leader in point-of-care carts, we are bridging the gap between point-of-care computing and medication delivery," explained Joel Hazzard, President and CEO for Ergotron. "This will greatly reduce costs for healthcare facilities. Caregivers will become more efficient and each patient will receive better care -- and that's healthy for everyone."
