Capitalizing on both the demand for new registered representatives in the financial services industry and the need for an alternative path for individuals to become securities licensed, Brokertrainingshool.com, Inc. introduces a new program for individual to receive securities licensing.
"We believe there is a widespread need for new NASD series 6 and 7 licensed professionals in all segments of the securities industry," stated Paul A. Werlin, President of BTS.com. Werlin continued, "In addition there are many individuals- teachers, real estate agents, accountants and others that are intrigued by the opportunities in financial services but find the current path to becoming an investment professional too onerous."
Under current federal and state regulations, in order to be sponsored to take the NASD licensing examinations, a person must become an employee of an NASD member firm and commit to study programs requiring inconvenient time commitments and travel. BTS.com will provide comprehensive training to individuals seeking these licenses without having to quit their current jobs, and receive the training and support they need at their own pace on their home computer.
"BTS.com will breakdown these barriers that make it hard for individuals to become licensed stockbrokers without the necessity of quitting their current job, finding a new job with a brokerage firm, and receive placement help when they decide they want to begin their career as an investment professional," Werlin stated.
James Nonnengard, President of Colonial Investments in Birmingham, Ala., confirmed the need for BTS.com. "There is both a strong need for new registered representatives, as well as considerable interest of career changers to pursue careers as registered representatives. But we have found that many very good people turn away from making the switch because they aren't ready to quit their current job or commit to scheduled training programs. BTS.com will make it so much easier for these individuals to become licensed."
BTS.com will initially provide training for NASD series 6, 7 and 63. Other licensing training will be provided at a later date. Information about BTS.com's products and services can be found on their website, brokertainingschool.com. BTS.com expects to begin training individuals in 90 days.
